Text messages and consent

Yellow Eagle Relocations LLC, a licensed interstate household goods carrier — USDOT 3795167, MC-1363846. Messages come from 888-361-6683, a toll-free number registered to us.

One checkbox, on the last step of the price form at /quote, directly under the field where you enter your phone number. It is empty when the page loads and stays empty unless you tick it yourself. We never pre-tick it, and we never add a number to messaging because it was typed into some other form.

This is the wording next to that box, in full:

You can get a price and book a move without ticking it. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

When you do tick it we store the wording you saw, the time, the page and the IP address it came from. That record is the proof that you agreed, and keeping it is our obligation rather than yours.

Messages about the move you asked us about, and nothing else. No promotions, no offers, no newsletters, and we do not text people who have not asked us for a price.

• An acknowledgement that your request arrived, with the range the site showed you.
• Arranging or confirming the video survey that turns that range into a firm price.
• A reply, if you text us a question.

As many as your own move needs and no more — usually one to three. There is no schedule and no recurring campaign, because the messages exist to answer a request you made.

• STOP — reply with it to any message and we stop texting that number. It takes effect immediately and you do not have to explain.
• START — reply with it to begin receiving messages again.
• HELP — reply with it and you get our contact details back.

Stopping texts does not cancel your move and does not stop us reaching you about it by phone or email. If you want us to stop contacting you altogether, say so on a call or write to info@yelloweagle.us.

Nothing from us. Your own carrier's message and data rates may apply, and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell your phone number and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. It goes to the carrier performing your move and to the providers that carry our messages and calls, because that is how the move happens. The detail is in our privacy policy.
